Hi,

Does anyone know if these are still available at all I have been looking around a may have found a few but wondering if anyone was aware of any sneaky ones!

Or if there are any companies that offer equity loans (not on the house but as a deposit) as I know that there are companies that do but don't know their names... I know the government do but that's no use to me.

Please, I appreciate you're time reading this but don't suggest that I save etc I'm already doing that...

No you will not get a 100% mortgage unless you are talking about what ACG is referring to.

You can get a 15% loan via Hitachi Capital to fund the deposit. Abbey are happy to accept it, subject to usual affordability checks. You can also get 100% lending on Shared Equity with Shepshed BS. Afaik, Shepshed only via panel brokers.

That does sound dodgy even if it does exist. However has anyone pointed out to the original poster having a 100% mortgage in a falling market is not good.

I am seeing adverts everywhere near me for "95% mortgages are back" but I suspect it's just for new builds where the builder is helping out somewhat so lots of small print.....

If you can find one please go in with eyes open, ie what you are doing is effectively renting from the bank and gambling house prices will increase, they may or they may not.
