Options
Had an email about this so if you spend just £20 instore or online you get a voucher for £5 off your next shop, not bad.

When you think about it, its actually £5 off £60 as you have to spend the initial £20 to get the voucher. Doesnt seem so great when you look at it that way..

Still better than the Asda one where the initial shop is £40 though
    Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently! ;)

That depends on if the voucher was from your own shop - I must have found half a dozen of them in the car park over the weekend :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

PS How are you doing Chris - still tormenting Tesco's?

Great for folk who like my two DDs who often spend 40-60 pounds in their shopping but to me who rarely spend more than 15-20 on a shop (I live alone ) then people like me miss out on the money off deals if I bought 60poundsworth of shopping I would
A have nowhere to put it all
B be broke for the rest of the month
C end up buying more than I need to stack in my cupboards just to 'save' a fiver
I would rather the supermarkets brought the prices down a bit then everyone would get more of a choice Not everyone has a big shop to do weekly .My DD has four lads still at home plus her OH and she has cut right back on buying stuff because there's just not the available cash in their pockets at the moment .She now buys quite a bit of basic stuff from Icelands, bread, squash ect.Normally she would get around £25-30 in vouchers every three months from Tesco's This time she got £2.00 but lots of 'spend £60.00 and get £9.00 off vouchers'.She decided they can go in the bin as Icelands locally to where we live is doing far better bargains for the money and she doesn't buy frozen ready meals either

    Hello all

This was emailed to me as well, suggesting the same amount and T&C on any shop over £20 between 26th May-1st June. Tesco stated eCoupon would be sent out before 2359 on 31st May.

I did an online shop on 27th May at £55 - and therefore expected to receive the voucher via email - but haven't.

Anyone else experienced the same problem? I've checked my Spam folder as well - still nothing.
  • Hi,

I have also not received the £5 voucher that Tesco said they would e-mail me by midnight last night.

Anyone heard if Tesco have had problems issuing the e-mails?

I'd rather have a voucher giving me 10% off a single shop. That's the same as £5 off a £50 shop of course, but it means that at least people who spend less could get a discount too. They could cap it at £10 off a £100 shop if they were worried about people using the voucher for £1,000 worth of beer or their wedding catering.
