Earlier this year , i was made redundant. Luckily my husband got a job in abroad / not EU countries. I had to join my husband, hoping i will get a job there and pay off my debt in the UK.while i was in abroad , i did not get any job. I have come back to England for a short time and the bank has blocked my cards until i contact CCCS. The problem is, i am only in the uk for a short time and do have the intention of paying them, if i get the job.

The loans i have taken are both unprotected loans.I have two bank accounts with the same bank. Each Account has an unprotected loan , one has about 800 balance and the other one has nearly ten grands. As i have been missing my payments, the banks has blocked my accounts and asked me to contact cccs. I have explained that i will look into that but i am willing to come into terms with them than another company handling my problem. The only way i could pay them is using online banking transfer while abroad. This will be difficult with cccs.I am still looking for work and if i get one , i will pay the small loan off and then concentrate on the bigger one. the bank promised that cccs are good and wont increase my loan or interest. What do i do? I have not told them i am back for a short time.

Have you spoken to CCCS at all?

They are a debt advice charity and will give you impartial advice about your situation and what might be the best action to take.

If you get into arrears with a bank loan then the bank will close your bank account - and take any funds in that account towards the debt. They won't be likely to unfreeze your cards.

If you need a bank account in the UK for a short while then you will need to open a new basic bank account with an unconnected bank.
You will need to ask for a basic bank account, as your probably won't now get through a credit check with any other bank.
