Need Replacement for Dyson DC07

hello.
My Dyson DC07 is on it's last legs. It's tools are starting to break and it's second hose has started to rip. My wife is convinced that it does not have the suction it used to have.
I am a bit of a Dyson fan having already owned a DC01 but I would like some advice on getting a replacement for my Dyson.
I would like another bagless vacuum cleaner, but is there anything out on the market that is as good as, or better, than my Dyson?
Any help would be much appreciated.
