Nationwide First time buyer Mortgage + Tronc related pay

Options
My self and my partner have been approved in principle for a mortgage and almost offered yesterday, when it was stop by someone who does not agree that Tronc should be used as a salary, even though the company my partner works for gets a basic rate of pay + Tronc which is performance related pay dependent on the position of employment.

Our Mortgage adviser is rattled by Nationwides dilemma whether to offer it or not. It is now with the top financial person of Nationwide to make a decision.

Even with just my partners basic rate of pay and my wages we can be still approved for more than the property is worth. The application has been submitted well over 5 weeks now and still no offer.

Combined wage is £48000 with no other out goings and credit scores are very good.

Has anyone had a similar issue and did you get an offer of acceptance.

The mortgage is only for £127,495
