Still need to think of some more ways to make £260 next month. I think I might stick with what I have and then see if I can make over the amounts I have estimated. Some are speculative and I may well manage to make over my estimates.

I'm cleaning and tidying the flat tonight as OH is away with work and it's so much easier when he's not there. We have a flat inspection on Friday, so need to get it done before then. I'm allowing myself an hour per room and nothing more.

    Evening :)

Got the flat all clean and tidy yesterday. Took me 4 hours and I was knackered afterwards, but it was worth it.

Just finishing off some questions at the moment and then going to have a spag bol.

    Morning

Didn't sleep well last night. I dreamed that I was leaving the hospital late at night (don't know why!!) and someone tried to steal my iPhone. Think that means I'm a bit obsessed with it :o. Can't remember if they actually stole it or not. I just remember that I curled up around it to protect it!!

Flat inspection today, but the flat is still nice and tidy, so no problems there.

OH is off to a wedding reception tonight. It's someone he works with. I was invited, but it's in Dartford and he's going straight from work on the train, so I'm not going to spend money on diesel to go to the wedding reception of someone I don't even know.

How did you get on with your first Textbroker article Emz? Seemed to remember you had one due today?

I'm writing my sign up one at the moment and have to say I'm struggling!

I haven't written it yet. I had longer on it than I thought. I'm going to try and write it tonight seeing as OH isn't around.

What are you writing your sample article on?

It said it could also be sightseeing in your favourite city as well as the one you live in so I went with New York.

The problem is it's a very low word count and I'm struggling to get it reduced down whilst actually still including useful information of you know what I mean.

What star grading did you get for your sample if you don't mind me asking?

I got 3 stars, which I think is the norm. Maybe concentrate on the main tourist attractions in one area. Like the Empire State Building and Macys or Fifth Ave and Central Park.

When I wrote about Portsmouth, I started on the Spinnaker Tower, then wrote about Gunwharf Quays and finished off with the Historic Dockyard. It flowed easily because they are all in the same area.

    Hope that helps :o

Don't you hate that! Ours does that too. Problem is there's a category for untidy on our inspection reports and I don't want to end up in there :o
