Hi
I'm a bit of a long time lurker just wanted to ask a question ive just had a phonecall from a company called Robinson Way who asked for my date of birth and the postcode of an address i lived at 8 years ago- I said I couldn't remember so the lady on the phone said 'can you find it out and call us back' to which i replied No...
I googled the company name and they are obviously a dept collecting agency but have no idea what they can be chasing... am i doing the right thing in just ignoring them? Im guessing that whatever it is is statutary (sorry spelt wrong) barred anyway so do i need to do anything else?
Thanks in advance for any advice

Wait and see if they write to you with details of what it is.
Then you can decide what to do, based on that info.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Thanks for the quick reply Fermi
From the way the lady was on the phone I don't think they have my address I didn't give it to them either :0)
All she kept saying was that she cant talk to me until she'd completed security and had to have that postcode....I think I got a bit rude as I sorta snapped at her that I had no intention of searching round for an old postcode just to talk to her
Will wait and see what happens
Thanks again for the quick reply enjoy your weekend.0
