Hey there DFWs!

Any advice?
Cheers

Well at the moment there aren't too many. Went to Burnage rugby club that is a brill one yesterday AND IT WASN'T THERE!!!!!(sob sob) There is a small one at Carrington but dont think I would try to sell there. The very best by a milion miles is a bit of a way out of M/C at Clithroe its at hte auctiom mart, you have a choice of indoor or outdoor stands, loads of refreshments and loo's, its well advertised and really welll organised. More importantly its HEAVINGLY busy!!!!! We always go htere when we want to sell, have only done it 3 times but have always done well. PM mw if you want any more info. There are lots of boot sales at various markets round M/C but i'd rather have an extra hour in bed than bother with them!!!!!Blind as you run...aware you were staring at the sun.

Bowlee Park in Middleton is, I think, run by the same people who run the (fab) one at Clitheroe. Best thing about Clitheroe is that it is INDOORS and therefore dry and WARM!!!!******** Never be a spectator of unfairness or stupidity *******"Always be calm and polite, and have the materials to make a bomb"0

Yes Bowlee is run by the same people as Clithroe. Bowlee IS very good but sadly, not an all year round venue(think its about late May- Sep) BUT...When its there its GOOD.Blind as you run...aware you were staring at the sun.

Anniestar - you know your stuff don't you!
Clitheroe would be a bit of a way out for us - we don't have that much stuff to justify the cost in petrol. Have you ever been to the one on Mauldeth Road in South Manchester at the Rugby club? I have seen loads of cars parked outside the grounds so think it must be popular?
Cheers for advice though!"Debt makes plans for you" - A quote from my friend Catherine. How true!0 -
Its poverty that does it Annie!!!!! Didn't know about the rugby club will check it out. Like I said we used to go to the rugby club(Burnage) just past Parrs Wood but we turned up yesterday and-NOTHING!! But we weren't the only ones loads of cars turning up and then turning arround. If you can wait then Bowlee IS fab(can direct you from the M60 no prob) and they do get huge crowds. Anyway anything I can bore you with feel free to ask(or PM). Take care.Blind as you run...aware you were staring at the sun.

Goodness! Are you car-boots doing a little to get you out of poverty? I hope so! To tell the truth I wouldn't have a clue how to price stuff for a car-boot so it's a bit troublesome to be honest. I did a car-boot once with my dad when I was a little girl my g*d the people were like vulchers!"Debt makes plans for you" - A quote from my friend Catherine. How true!0 -
Does anyone know of a directory of boot fairs in London at all?0

I best ever car boot sale has to be Bowlee in Middleton, Manchester .. it starts from around 6:30am (car stall holders) and normally the public start turning up from 7am and goes on untill around 2ish ! I have been to many car boot sales but this has to be the biggest and best and there is customer car parking also (I think it is £1) .... i can't wait untill it starts again in summer (... i think it is run by Hoyels promotions if you google them) i am renovating my farmhouse and cant wait to get this years bargains again !!!!! :j :T0
