I'll join in - £15 I reckon (that will include one midweek trip to the cinema - we have a 2 for 1 voucher ;-) and some treats.

well it's been a very very long week up here and it's not set to change. doing stupid hours at work at the mo and soooo tired I'm using match sticks to keep my eyes open so I don't sleep through jack tonight

the energy to actually add up what I spent this week is a little beyond me just now but I can promise I was within budget, I'd allowed,

    food £15 just under £10
    stuff £9 just under this
going out £10 just under this too!

I put just over a pound into my change pot from the stuff and going out budgets so I know I was defo under.

This week is going to be tough physically and financially. I'm working six days (now just finished day 4 of nine day stretch) and on top of that have a night out for friends moving to edinburgh on friday and one of my best friends at the gym (the one that convinced me to apply!) is moving jobs so we're going out on saturday...so I'm allowing...

    food £10
    stuff £10
    going out £40

spent £1.74 of food budget this avo on a lazy lunch from asda then £6.57 on my 'big' shop but I shouldn't need anything else from this so will be within budget again :j

I'll try and post each day with my spends but if I can't please forgive me, will defo be back next sunday to tell you how I got on. Look after yourselves this week xxx

Evening moozie - my budget L/W was £35 and I only spent £15.10 (that's because DH put petrol in my car with work's fuel card :shhh: )
This week my budget will be £25

  • Bit of a wild day today . . . by recent standards :rotfl:

    46p bar of chocolate
35p for a notebook (due to getting old and forgetful!!)
SIX WHOLE POUNDS! on a top in New Look sale

But I earned £150 DJing on Friday which is more than I was expecting.

Next week I'll say £10 again.

    Evening all!!

I have let this lapse a bit over the last couple of weeks but have been spending too much on chocolate recently (My name is Hypno and I am a chocoholic.....)

So £2 for me I think this week please Miss Moozie.

And if anyone sees me with a packet of Minstrels in my hand, you have permission to severely tell me off. Very very loudly in the middle of the shop.....:o

  • Hello all,

This week I will budget £100 as I have a busy week ahead of me, with two parties to go to on Friday and Saturday and mothers day on Sunday.

    Have a good week all

I have gone and spend over £83.00, despite giving myself a high budget of £71.00. Ok till son came home Friday - why the h*** did I take hime out to eat rather than just come home and have sandwiches???

Also feel pretty down - my recovery from an accident (about which I have not posted) is getting slower and remains painful so I am not in the mood for further self denial......

BUT OF COURSE I MUST!!!! So I will set £20.00 for this Sun - Fri....
(thanks moozie, this is a great and useful challenge)

    best to all challengers, pmr

    hi

I've spent about £10. I'm not going to do the challenge this week as I am seeing it as a licence to spend it! I hope not spend any money not budgeted for this week - here's hoping! If it doesn't work I'm back ont he challenge next week :)
