TV Warranty company in Liquidation help please

Hi,

I purchased a TV from bennets in December 2010 and paid for an extended warranty which i believe was 5 years (will double check this).

I got a letter today saying the Warranty company ( BR Realisations LTD ) have gone into liquidation.

I paid the £300 with my visa debit.

The letter stated I "could" try to get a refund via "section 75" but the purchase was a year and half ago, too long?

Failing that, the letter states, i should fill in the attached form to submit a claim in the insolvent liquidation.

Im just looking for some advice on this matter, maybe somone else has had a similar issue?
