Free PC game Disciples II Gold -offer ends Saturday morning

For 1 day Green Man Gaming are selling Disciples II Gold for £0. You will need to register and run their client software called "Capsule" but no credit card details should be required.

Their "normal" price is £14.94, but more realistically GOG sell it for $9.99 (that's around £6.40).

Although an old game it is apparently a good one. I am downloading it now.

Even if you don't like it you will be able to trade it in for £3 in part exchange for anything else they sell.

Thanks, couldn't find game using your link but did a search on the site and found it and it is free until Saturday , although says that this game cant be traded in.

Thanks for the alternate links. My link still seems to work for me. Odd. You could always just go to their home page and click on the "Free Game Giveaway" panel on the right hand side.

As to the trade in value if you can reach that page it says:

If Disciples 2 isn't your thing, don't fear! From Saturday, you'll be able to trade in Disciples for $5 / £3 credit towards ANY game on the site!

So it sounds like the trade in value only kicks in once the free offer has expired. Maybe to stop you endlessly trading it in and re-downloading!

If like me you wish there was manual with it - there is but it takes a bit of finding. In my case it was here, though the location might vary if you installed Capsule elsewhere...

And the manual is: "DII Manual.pdf"

I see the £3 trade in value is now active too.
