We are selling our house whilst it is in negative equity. Very long story but we will be in rented accomodation. Absolute nightmare trying to sort it out tbh. The bank that has the third charge (so will bear the shortfall) has agreed in principle we can carry on paying the remainder after we have sold, but it's difficult to get all three lender and the solicitor all talking from the same page. They all want everyone else to have agreed in writing before committing.0

Yes, we have just sold whilst in negative equity. However we had to pay our shortfall in full in cash before we could complete. Who is your lender?0
