Hi, can anyone help with this.. My daughter had made a late payment to Freemans club book and they charged her a £20 administration fee. When she contacted them they said there was nothing they could do about the fee and refused to remove it. I thought £20 was excessive but don't know how to get it back for her. Many thanks for any help anyone can give me...

Did she get a letter from Freemans advising her of this or was it just slapped on?
If she got no correspondence whatsoever then the charge is punitive and (wait for it you lot) unlwaful in contract law.
If she did get a letter then £20 may still be deemed too much as it is now around £12 for a credit card fee. She may well have to pay a fee it just depends on how much.0 -
Littlewoods charges £10 that is way too much.I would write in to customer services.0
