Chinese dress websites

Options
I've been looking at the websites, lightinthebox, Millsybridal etc and was wondering which ones people had used?

I need a second wedding dress and dont want to pay a lot, so would like to try one of the Chinese sites, but not sure which to go with.

I got my dresses at wholesale price from basadress.com. It is very beautiful and really well made. They custom made the dresses to fit me so i didn't need any fittings.
they were really quick to answer any of my questions and very quick about making my dress about 3 weeks from oder to in hand.
I think it is better than a second wedding dress!!

    Hello

I ordered my dress from myweddingdressforless.co.uk. It hasnt come yet so I cant vouch for quality, however they display pictures on the website of the finished dresses, so at least you know your not getting a rip off designer dress. Also, the customer service is FANTASTIC. A lady there emails me every week with an update on my dress, they have delays on at the moment and she bugs the team leaders in the workshop to ensure my dress is a priorty. They also offer free shipping which includes the customs charges.

I bought my bridesmaids dresses from dressingpod.com, and they too are lovely. They do also have wedding dresses on there.

    HTH!

Thank you both for the replies. I hadn't looked at either of those. Do you have any pictures of either? x

  • Lightinthebox have reviews for each style of dress (depending on how many have sold) inc pics of the real dress - I reckon they are 'legit'!
  • i bought my custom made wedding dress from dressingpod....the dress that arrived was nothing like the dress advertised! the fabric was completely diferent and the style not nearly the same. i rang them and they asked me to send photos, then despite agreeing that the dress was not the same offered me a very small amount of money to keep it.when i said no they agreed to me returning it to them..at my own cost.once returned they then agreed again to a refund.this happened in october, its now april,at first they reassured me about getting a refund, now they just ignore my emails and i still have NO refund. i was devastated on receipt of the dress but am now im angry at the total lack of communication from them. i would advise others to be wary.

I realise this is an old thread revived but if anyone is thinking of going down this route, I have no qualms about recommending MillysBridal who I used for my own wedding.
