Small things have changed over the last week (since i had my LBM)
we have decided to take the cash out of the bank for groceries every week instead of paying by card, also giving hubby the calculator to take with him

Right now i'm motivated and have even managed to motivate hubby who has had 3 NSD this week
Bought a new printer (with vouchers i had for a while) so i could print off the tax relief form and snowball calculator. All statements, snowball calculator and list of debts compiled into a folderWill also be checking the bank every day to keep a close eye on finances. Watch this space....

Hi, i haven't but hubby does the shopping so will just send him with cash and a calculator (he won't want to fail in the challenge[male pride])so i'm sure we'll be on budget. I think i'll do the diary thing that i've seen posted though....

As well as the cash and the calculator, don’t forget to give your husband the LIST.
Simple rule – if it’s on the list, it can be bought. If not, it stays on the shelf.

Good luck! It can take a while to get used to spending this way, but after a few weeks it will feel normal and you will be surprised how much you have left over to put towards the debt! x£21k of debt left to go and got until 2014 to clear it! :eek:CC: £14,000Loan: £1,100Loan: £6,1000
