Mortgage application

I have just done a mtg application with nat west over the phone, and it was approved provisionally, passed the credit score and what not.
My wage has gone up this month, but as I have not had a pay slip I went with the lower salary.
My partner however is changing roles for job security, and his salary will go down by 10% from the 1st June. On the application I have given the lower salary, however as the money going into the account is based on the higher salary.......will this cause an issue?
TIA

They will question it probably, but just explain the reason why you have done what you have and it will be ok.
The only thing that might cause an issue is if your husband has changed companies and is in a probationary period but otherwise it should be ok.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Nah it's the same company of 11 years, I did mention it to the guy on the phone and he said he would put it in the notes to the underwriter, which is what has caused me the concern?0

Whats causing you concern then? Hes putting notes in to say what youve told him - this covers his back.
I wouldnt worry, job security is fine. Youve done an application based on the lowest incomes despite a future increase.
If it fails affordability then there is some scope with the payrise. If you fail something else then we can help if/when that arises. But on the face of what you have said i would relax for a few days let them look over it.
