Vision2learn free course

I have just received a e mail from REED job site offering FREE courses with Vision2learn ...I am extremely interested in the IT course , but I was aleays told you get anything for nothing...is this real or is there a catch ...perhaps someone has some info or advice .....

We were sent emails about this from work. A few of my colleagues have signed up for it and are working through it at the moment.

No one has paid anything, or been asked to contribute. I was sceptical and didn't take up the offer, but I wish I had now!

If I remember correctly, there is a catch. Which is that if you don't complete the course in the time specified or don't pass the assessment (one of those two, I can't remember), you get stung for the cost. I don't know if this is the case for all courses they do - but read the T&Cs VERY closely.

If you do the courses via an education provider, they may pay that cost, but they are also able to pass it onto you - so again, read the small print.

I have completed my ITQ Level 2 with them and have a 2 part certificate from City & Guilds. The only small catch is that you have to do one assessment in the first month and if you cancel you have to pay fees. But a month to do one section is PLENTY of time. I've just completed the Principles of Business and Admin one currently awaiting marking and am just about to sign up for the Equality and Diversity one. All free and all recognised qualifications.

You get a feedback form on everything you submit and if you have failed a question they tell you why you have failed it. I have failed questions 2/3 times and never got charged or even a mention of it.
