I've seen some in Asda and the pound shops, so they are worth a look. Also Ikea have some, in different sizes.

Google Philip Morris Direct (housewares/preserving/jars), the cheapest I've found so far for Kilner type jars with the metal disk and securing rings. The Deluxe preserving jars are good value and I believe that they will also accept the kilner disks. All I need now is to find a decent canner in the UK, unless I can bribe some kin folk to bring one over from Canada on their next visit. :D
