hi everyone
I have some debt, well, me and my husband do, and it is making me really panicky. which will sound stupid in a minute cos Ive just seen how much debt some others are in but its all I ever think about
Next £39
Santander £1005
Santander £1008
Barclaycard £75
Very £400
we keep getting down to nearly having cleared our debts and then I blow loads again (I have bi-polar) we have cleared my next account onto a 0% credit card 4 times now but I just build it up again
this time I am closing the account so I cant.
between us we pay out £200 on our debt which is a lot as we are on a very low wage with a very high mortgage
any tips???

Hi Max_b
Welcome to MSE!
You do not sound stupid, any debt is a worry.
Is your bi-polar treated? Maybe you could put money dealings in your husbands hands for a short while until things are abit more sorted.
It's a very good idea to close down the Next account to avoid temptation.
Regarding what you are paying out, from looking on the boards it is helpful to do an SOA ( Statment of Affairs) so as people are able to take a look and advise any changes you could make.
The board itself is also full of ideas, challenges and inspiration for a 'pick me up' if you have a browse.
Good luck in your debt free journey!!0
