Does Olympic Park ticket include Travelcard?

Does anyone know if the Olympic Park access ticket that were sold today also include the Travelcard? or is that limited to actual event tickets?

I wasnt sure myself but I think a travel card is only available if you have a ticket for an actual "event" or the opening and closing ceremonies.

If you're still interested, I got my tickets yesterday and yes, they do come with a travel card that covers all zones!

That's great news, thanks so much for posting. Those Olympic Park tickets are the best deal around then, for £10/adult and £5/kid we have free transportation around London for the whole day!

That is indeed good news, wasn't expecting it, saves us around £19 on Travelcards for the day. Just hope my tickets turn up in time now!

I will be using the Olympic travelcards from Dartford.
This is just ouside the zones covered by the Olympic travelcards.
Must I keep buying National rail tickets to cover the portion of the journey that is outside Zone 7?

Yes I think so. Pay to edge of Zone 9 (I think that's where the travelcard goes to) and then it's covered. Not covered for High Speed train though if you go from Ebbsfleet (which has loads of trains going to/from on a new timetable).
