Letters 3 years after br

Hi Guys,

Got in tonight to find that i have a letter saying that my debt has been sold on? the debt was included in my br what should i do with it? any help would be grateful

    There is nothing wromng with them selling the debt on, it is perfectly legal to do so. BUT the new company has the same responsibility to report to your credit files correctly so that is what you are going to be looking out for

    no need to do anything at the moment, just keep an eye on your credit file when the time comes to clean them up to make sure that they mark them accordingly

    Check your credit files. See what they say.

    As you went BR 3 years ago, this should have long ago been corrected and marked as settled.

    If it still is correct on your files, then all good.

    However if it now isn't, then you need to get that sorted.
