Make BTL repayment, and then who would it be eaiser for?

Notice you decided to ignore the interest only part, conviniently!

Also end the tax concessions on buy to let also.

    Raising deposits is one thing.

Moving towards preferencial BTL lending is another.

That's what is happening. Two buyers could have a 20% deposit. The BTL would have an easier time getting a mortgage.
Sorry, but this is complete rollox.

I'm surprised you even believe this yourself.

Its not the problem of lending not being enough, its a case of no regulation on BTL.

Capped rents are the only way to sort this mess out.

Stops landlords fleecing tenants and makes BTL less attractive.

Imagine a world where owning a BTL property may actually cost you a little every month, still a good investment as you get a free house at the end of it, but not the money tap it can be today.

To be honest I see no problems with a renting culture, but there has to be regulation to make it fair, I wouldn't dream of renting with how it is right now.

    Explain this fleecing concept please.

As far as I know the landlord advertises his property to rent. The potential tenant makes and offer and the landlord either accepts it or rejects it.

    Is that what fleecing is?

Because the landlords bought up the housing stock therefore making it unavailable to buy and pushing pricing up in the process.

Meaning the choice isn't buy or rent, its rent or be homeless.

Really? So every single available house in the UK is bought by a BTL buyer preventing private buyers buying a house.

I don't think even you believe that.

You don't understand. BTL on repayment/interest only is no different, that's why I didn't mention it.

Interest only vs repayment is irrelevant regardless. The money is going into the mortgage or it's still in your pocket and you should be investing it.

If you ended tax breaks on BTLs who would pay for it? The landlord...or the tenants.

Just think about it you !!!!ing morons. That's all I ask.

I assume you mean the deductibility of mortgage interest from profits? In which case to be consistent you should also refuse every other business the same ability.
