Can anyone tell us why my Husband gets £166.40 per week from the DWP when the amount they say they pay is £157.90?

not a lot to go on but maybe 157.90 was last years rate and 166.40 is this years rate?0 -
It went up by £5.30 in 2012 so he should be getting £163.20. I would hate to be overpaid and then have a long inquisition as to why we never said anything just kept the money!
He has it paid in weekly not monthly if that makes a difference. There being 13 months rather than 12 if paid 4 weekly or something but I do not understand it.0 -
You should have had a notification from the Pension Service in Feb/Mar giving details of the makeup of the weekly payment.
Basic/pre97 /contracted out/post 976/GRB etc
They will then multiply this by four and pay it into you bank at the end of the four week period0
