I always buy them dry from Waitrose - they are twice as much in Tesco.

Can't believe the asian supermarket didn't have them. Did you ask? They are usually vacuum packed and look like raisins.arthurx1234 wrote: »Saw Gok Wans tv show where he made beef & black bean sauce, where would i buy black beans, checked my local and very well stocked asian supermarket but no luck.

You MIGHT want to try asking people in the asian supermarket in cantonese "huk dao see" or in mandarin "hey dough she"!0

Very thinly sliced beef and ASDA "rainbow" stir-fry vegetables in home-made black bean sauce. And black beans are available from my nearest Chinese supermarket.

And I also need to restock with their packs of noodles. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life. 0 0

Sainsburys sell dried black beans and also Morrisons (but they call them black turtle beans). I think Sainsburys also sell them in a tin, but I tend to cook the whole packet of dried beans and freeze them in tin size portions.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0
