Pancetta - can I still eat it?

I've got a vacuum sealed pack of cubed pancetta in the fridge with no date on it. Do you think it is still safe to eat?
I remember buying it from Tesco's about a month ago and it came in 2 sections. The 1st section I used for a recipe so that side of the pack must have had the use by date on it! I do think that it is a bit naughty of Tesco's not to have the date printed on both parts of the pack.
I vaguely remember it having a March date (I think!) It still looks the same (pink) colour.
What do you think??

As pancetta is cured it generally keeps pretty well, especially if the pack is unopened. Trust your nose if it smells ok and has not discoloured it's probably ok it eat.Twins, twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the mess!:j:j0

I agree with Prettypennies. It's basically bacon, and that has a long shelf life.0
