Mortgage problem

Options
Hi everyone first time poster long time reader:)

The wife and i have talked on and off about buying a larger house but thought it would probably wait for a while and today we were looking through the paper and noticed my m8s dads house for sale (he passed away a few months ago) It an ideal fixer upper and would be great for our small kids.

The problem is I have a mortgage with the natwest which I have had for about 2.5 years, when I first got the mortgage I opened an account to to take advantage of a mortgage deal. In the end we did not need the account and i forgot about it. In that time we moved houses, in the back end of january i got a call from the natwest saying I owed them about £500 in bank charges for the life of me I could not work out why. Its now March and I'm no where near resolving this black mark on my credit score.

I called my mortage company and expalined the above and that I wanted to trasfer my mortgage as its the weekend no managers are working so she could not get answer as to whether or not I can tansfer my morgage to the new house.

So what do you think.... will I be disapointed come monday when I get he call from the advisor? or should I be hopefull.

I could not possibly answer whether the Natwest will or will not give you a mortgage but it doesnt necessarily mean that its the end of the road for you.

Wait and see what is said and if the answer is no, come back and Im sure that there will be enough people to try and give you some guidance
