Help please - cheap kids ps2 games???

Hi, I'm looking for cheap PS2 games for my nieces aged 5 for their birthday. I got them a ps2 a couple of weeks ago and loaned them a few games (I don't think my sister is too keen on them running people over on Simpsons Hit and Run!). Like all kids of that age they don't have too long an attention span so the cheaper (and more appropriate) the better. So far I've found Sensible Soccer at gamestation for a fiver which I posted earlier, any other ideas please????

Blockbuster and Game do second hand games quite cheaply - I have picked up some football games, Harry Potter etc for under a fiver. They also do a trade in system where you can earn credits to spend at Blockbuster. We trade in some and then buy others.

Comet had games from £1.99 upwards, ask to check prices at till, as not all were marked down but were scanning cheaper.

Thanks for the quick replies. I got four for £20 at gamestation and I'll check Comet on Monday. That should keep them happy for a while!

  • Depending on where you live certain pc worlds had games like harry potter for 97p. You can check on there website to see if your local one has any stock.
  • You do know that PS1 games work in PS2 don't you.
We have (and will be getting rid of, as we have a Wii now the kids are bigger) lots of PS1 games that we got for DD2 when she was 5 or so (Rugrats, Bear in the big blue house etc) They are ideal, because, whilst they are a bit crude re graphics etc compared to PS2 games , they also are slower and needs less precision, which was perfect at that age.

The eye toy stuff is good for young ones too- esp the early less sophicticated "eye toy play" etc.
