Peter at 'Mydeco' has wrote to me personally this evening
(very good customer skills)
Iam now 100% happy that we have resolved the problem, iam happy with his explanation, and although i totally understand any companies concerns when giving away free products, i just thought it could have been handled better originally..
(My mum will prolly be in bed but im sure she'll be happy enough also)
Please see below.
Hi,
Of course we can solve this amicably, I'll make sure you will get your vouchers tomorrow but we would appreciate you would withdraw your comment regarding mydeco doing fishy things. We are a reputable company that is unfortunately victim of fraud which we have to battle. We might have been too strict in your case. Please email help@mydeco.com and customer service will be happy to give you your vouchers. Apologies for any grievance I caused.
Kind regards,
Peter Bakker,
CEO

I would like to reply to this post as this post suggests that mydeco has invalid business practices. Let me start with that we never ever ask for Credit card details except during a transaction. This data is not stored ever.
We had a fantastic offer through Easyliving to get to know mydeco. We gave away 20£ for anyone to spend but it is limited by 1 voucher per person and when we suspected misuse we send the following sentence:
"Please note, this offer is limited to one voucher code per person, and the billing address on the credit or debit card used to place your order must match the address you provide on sign up."
Nothing wrong with that. If vanPopple received anything else or does not misuse the code, please get in touch with the mydeco service desk at help@mydeo.com or 02033841307 where we are happy to help him.

Where you not trying to place an order with your £20 discount voucher - that's probably why your credit card details were required.
Did you and your mother use the same discount voucher?
ETA: Re the newbie comment, given that the MSE Forum team have inserted a paragraph into your original post I would imagine that the poster his who he says he is and from MyDeco - they will have checked this. The shinbone is a device for finding furniture in a dark room.:TBig thanks to all competition posters:T0
