This cordless vacuum is on offer at Amazon.

These are on sale in other places for over £50 & the reviews seem quite good.
Hope this helps someone.0 -
just bought one! Reviews sound fab.
Hope its good!0 -
I just bought one too. It's 60 pounds on the Tesco website! http://www.tesco.com/direct/gtech-cv04-germguard-hard-floor-vacuum/209-3486.prd
It has one poor review on Amazon, but that person says the cord comes out when they try to use it. It's not supposed to be used with the cord plugged in, that's just for charging it surely?0 -
Here is a rather "cheesy" video from Gtech; gives you a good idea of what the machine looks like in action.

Thanks op - I have had an older model with lights for a while but at this price have bought a spare for myself and a couple for the family :j0

I received mine. Its like using a hand held hoover on a stick so no bending. More for dust and small particles of dirt. Not for a a really crumby floor like mine!0
