Reclaim cost of booked flight

Hi,

I was looking for the cheapest flight to Cyprus and go onto 'On the beach site who were cheaper than Easy Jet at £369. Entered credit details and clicked confirm. Bang my card was debited £404.60! This was paid up of card surcharge (2x£12) and a card surcharge of 11.90. Of course neither of these were flagged. It turned out it was with RyanAir. If I'd known that I wouldn't have gone ahead with the transaction.

I immediately cancelled and the page showing the cancellation showed that I would get a refund of 393 (total - card surcharge). However, two days later my visa account was debited for 404.60 and I haven't received a refund. They have no email address and only a premium number to contact and they don't answer that.

Would I be able to claim back from my bank under section 75? On the grounds the goods were misrepresented?

Any help, mucho appreciated

So it was a undisclosed airline cheaper than Easyjet? you took a gamble and it didnt pay off.

If you're getting a refund it will be usually be done manually, so it will wont be immediate.

With regard to non disclosure, ive had a look at the site and it says this below when you put in your card info, so it was disclosed.

    1. Full payment for this booking will be taken from your card
    2. Please note, credit cards will incur a 2.95% handling fee on top of the total cost. Debit cards other than Mastercard Prepaid will incur a 1.95% handling fee on top of the total cost subject to a minimum transaction fee of £2.50 per person.
