    Probably might be worth it - check out what the balance transfer fee would be.
    Also double check that you can do a bt up to that amount (some card providers have a lower balance transfer limit than the full credi limit).

    Another option and to save balance transfer fees - is the slow stooze option. With that you use the hsbc card for various day to day payments (groceries / fuel etc) and then the money in your bank that you would have spent on that you use to pay off the barclaycard quicker. Obviously it only works if you are disciplined to ensure you do pay it all you spend on 1 card to pay off the other.
