I have a with profits pension with Equitable and it can be taken at the end of May. If I take it will I lose any rights to future compensation (should there be any) HELP! I don't know whether to take and run or leave it

If you can take it at the end of May without surrender penalty then you should not have lost anything apart from a few small (possibly zero) bonuses for the last few years. As a result it is unlikely that you would be entitled to receive compensation, even if any were agreed in the future.
If there is no surrender penalty, I suggest taking the money.0 -

Hi,
May I suggest that you talk to the posters on the Equitable Life board on the Motley Fool? They are a very knowledgable bunch, and many of them are in the same boat as you -

Compensation of any sort seems pretty unlikely; no-one seems to want to take responsibility for this mess.
