Hi Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced shampoo and conditioner they use successfully for removing the chlorine out of their hair after swimming please. I find the last 2 inches of my hair has gone very dry because of it lately. Thanks:)

I swim regularly and Paul Mitchell shampoo3 is for swimming and redken do a cleansing cream shampoo but I don't know about reasonably priced? You do need only a small amount though and I've tried cheaper ones but they seem to leave a coating. Any clarifying shampoo should do but they can be harsh if you use them too often. However protecting your hair is more important.
I wear a cap, I wet my hair before I go in to the water as it absorbs less chlorine when wet. (If your hair is dry it soaks up the chlorine) I then put my cap on and afterwards I wash and condition with shampoo for my hair type. The most potent weapon of the oppressor is the mind of the oppressed. I remember buying this one for someone I know who swims regularly:

You might be able to find it cheaper somewhere, as this one's not all that cheap once you've paid for delivery, but it is designed for swimmers.0 -
make sure you have thoroughly soaked your hair before swimming as it won't then absorb the pool water. ordinary sampoo and conditioner should then be fine0

Boots Sun Swim and Gym was always good:

Also, as mentioned above definitely soak your hair in the shower before getting in the pool. If your hair is already saturated with fresh water, it will soak up less chlorine.
Wear a swimming cap.
Finally, if you want to go the whole hog, rub through a small amount of conditioner into your hair, after first rinsing with fresh water. Once under your swimming cap you'll have hardly any chance of chlorine touching it then.0
