A Helping Hand
We know it makes sense, but ‘old habits die hard’ and we all need a reminder now and then. Have no fear, help is at hand.
SaveWaterSaveMoney has produced a handy little tooth timer… affectionately known as Toothy. Toothy Timer is a funky two-minute timer with a friendly (very toothy) crocodile on it, to get the kids thinking about the importance of brushing for two minutes. Toothy also reminds little ones (and adults) to Turn Off the Tap and save litres of water every time. After all, time flies when you’re having fun.
Some participating Water Companies are offering their customers free or discounted Toothy Timers in support of National Smile Month. Check out advice on how to use water wisely and what’s on offer from your Water Company here.
Official MoneySavingExpert.com Insert:
Water companies offering the toothy timer are Veolia Water (1,000), Wessex Water (3,000), United Utilities (5,000), Yorkshire Water (2,000) and South Staffs Water (1,000).
Read the Water Bills and Home & Energy Grants guides for more offers and energy saving.
