Judgement Set aside after paying bailliffs

Can I claim back bailliffs charges if I successfully get my judgement set aside and settle the account in full? I STUPIDLY paid a lot of money to bailliffs when I discovered there was a CCJ in joint names with an ex. (he was supposed to pay the debt as part of a verbal separation agreement)
Days after I had forked out £1300 to the bailliffs I found out I could apply for the judgement to be set aside. This amount just about covers the bailliffs fees so no money will yet have been given to towards the original debt (£490).
If I'm successful can I try to claim the fees back? The baillifs did not find me, I stupidly made myself known to them when I found out about the CCJ during a credit search.
Any advice welcome

The bailiffs fees were £1300????
what was the debt for?
Did they give you a full breakdown of the bailiffs fees and did you check that they were legal (they often are not).
For them to have come to anything like that amount of money - did they levy your goods and you sign a walking possession order?A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
The original debt was for a Home Energy report for en estate agent. the cost of this was £495. The CCJ was for £708 set in November 2011. I did request a breakdown of the fees which they did send, however, I have no idea if they are legal or not. If I post them on here, will anyone be able to help do you think?0
