"Credit Scores" are utterly useless though.
EDIT: taffy056 beat me to it!! lol0 -
I find the Experian credit score quite useful
Not as a standalone score , but as barometer of my credit appeal from time to time
You have to keep taking the medication before you see the results and the same is true of these credit scores - stick with it for a few months :idea:Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. But I'm sure plenty of people didn't order the score every month. So for those people it represent a much worse deal. I'm not having a go, but I do think that there should be the option to not have the score or to buy it separately.
I do have to agree that the score seems to pretty useless. Apart from the fact that every lender scores differently, it is also hard to tell what it relates to. My score is 'fair' at the moment but I have no negative factors on my report and have 3 positive ones. There is also no recommendation to 'improve' my score. I never in the passed have bothered with the score - i think it pointless for me personally - people should have the choice to have simple or all included!Official DFD: Dec 29Challenge DFD: July 23Debts Cleared: 1/13Building EF: £20/£600 3%0 -
I used to have an account with Experian but cancelled it a few years ago.
I just signed up to PrivacyGuard and have been sent an email asking me to post them 2 original bills and a copy of my passport to an address in Nottingham, does this sound right??
I don't even have original bills any more, all my bills are direct debit and paper free.0
