NMC Proposed Fee increase

The rise is ridiculous after we have seen our pay frozen for years, increases in tax and NI, my salary is less now than two years ago.
The NMC has put this out for consultation and you would be better doing this than the petition, it is open to all.

I did both but I do agree you should also use the consultation form.
I said they should reduce the fees and move out of London to a cheaper and more central part of England to save money.
But maybe as they are their to protect patients and NOT Nurses then the public should be paying the whole costs involved.
12 week consultation on fee increaseSignature removed club member No1.
It had no link, It was not to long and I have no idea why.0 -
Hi - I am a nurse and have signed the epetition. I am horrified by the hike in NMC registration. When I qualified - waaay back, there was a one off fee, then it was changed to an annual fee. What on earth do they do with all this money  and what exactly do they do for us!!
I work for an agency and have to pay for my uniform and CRB annually. I get annual mandatory training but do not get paid for the time when I attend the training. All I seem to do is pay out. I do get paid slightly more for working for the agency but don't get sick pay, and get cancelled a lot.
Anyway, to all my fellow nurses, keep up the good work especially in these difficult times
