Strange discount policy at starbucks. I bought two frappacinos for £3.40 each. I expected to pay £1.70 each (obviously half price) but was only given a £1.70 discount on the total price.

Discussed it with the manager but she said that's their discount policy.

    I am still confused ...!

I'd write a quick complaint email via their website if I were you, I've done this and been sent vouchers for free drinks. They're normally quite good at dealing with complaints, it does sound like the manager was wrong where you went.

I took my kids today and we got strawberries and cream frappucinos. They were all half price. The pricing is silly - something like £3.40, £3.70 and £4 so obviously we got big ones and the boys shared one rather than 3 small ones. I think I'm going to be a few stone heavier when this offer has finished.

So glad this offer is on for a while. Spent my last £2 on a Mocha Cookie Crumble one yesterday! Was delicious!

for more vfm buy a venti (the largest), pay half-price and then get a spare cup - they are very nice about giving out spare cups - so it's like getting 2 normal-sized frapps (the large are HUGE!) at half the price of 1.

I have a dieting friend who has convinced herself that half price also means half the calories!

Could not believe the queues coming out the shop and down the highstreet over this weekend. Left me wondering how much this offer may have attributed to it.

Does anyone know if the offer applies at Train station ones?

I bought one today, and it was soooo waterdowned. tasted like blend chocolate water. Definitely has to do with the promotion I think, they taste 10x better normally. Also got one on friday, but the portion was smaller than their usual size (not filled to the top)

tall frap is about 1.60 but only 1.85 for the large version, so you might as well go large. It's valid at all stores, train stations included.

If it helps, there's a mocha light version, though. as the name goes, the drink tastes light as well :/
