I am planning to take a personal loan for my home improvements.
Can anyone please recommend a bank which will offer me personal loans in cheap rate?
Thanks,
paul

You can look for yourself..
http://www.moneysupermarket.com/money/
..or if you want advice give people some info to work with, otherwise it's pick one out of a hat.
- your salary
- how much are you looking to borrow
- what are your existing debts
- how's your credit history0 -
i already tried in Money Super Market.
Is there any other site or link to any free financial advisers?0 -
THere's no answer to your incredibly vague question.
How much do you need?
How much do you earn?
How old are you?
Have you ahd loans before?
Did you ALWAYS pay them back on time?
Who do you bank with?
Do you go over your overdraft limit on that account? From £8,800 to £2,200 in 2 years.
Nearly there, just the 0% credit card to go!0 -
No one single bank offers the best rates to all people for all loan amounts - if they did then everyone would use them and all the other banks would go out of business.
Which banks will consider offering you a loan and which might give you the cheapest rate will depend on your financial history, which banks you've currently or previously done business with, how much you want to borrow and your financial circumstances.
As a starting point -
What amount are you looking to borrow?
Are you a homeowner?
Who do you bank with currently?
If you have a mortgage who it that with?A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
I am looking for £15000
I own a property
I did not have loans before
I have a good credit history and I can repay it without any problem
I need the loan for 5 years and it is for home improvements.
I am looking for some links to some good financial advisers or websites like money super market.0 -
Financial advisors generally help people invest money and with pensions etc - they do not usually help with loan applications. A mortgage broker would be able to help/advise with secured loans but if you are looking for an unsecured loan I doubt you will find any professional advisors, especially not free ones as they wouldn't be paid a commision for an unsecured loan.
Assuming you want an unsecured loan of £15k then you would need to be a fairly high earner and have a credit history of borrowing money and repaying it back on time.
You say you have had no loans before - but say you have a good credit history - what credit accounts have you had previously?A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -

And yes, there may well be other sites like moneysupermarket but why do you suppose the information given would be any different?0 -
