"999" as the price (digits 10-12 in the barcode) will prompt the till for a manual price input, unless the till already knows the full barcode for the coupon (as Tesco do with their own ones) in which case you'll have to buy the product. Not sure how manual price input works on SS tills - perhaps you can name your price?!

Would be nice in theory :rotfl:

Barcode is - 9916090039992 - so may have to be manually input? Or only work if you buy the Sugar Puffs...What say you?

I have been tescoing today, been to 4 stores and on shop 1 bought the paper, on shop 2 used the 2 vouchers for the sugar puffs - the SA had to manually input the price after checking my receipt as it did not scan automatically.

I have another 2 sugar puff vouchers to use but cannot see me getting there again today, after 4 tescos I have had enough for one day.

Well I did go to Tescos after all, shame to waste the sugar puff vouchers when DS likes them and whilst out I also managed to get to Superdrug and get my free toothpaste.

At Tescos I used the self-scanner and the SA had to manually input the price. A good freebie and after saving well in excess of £200+ today I am shattered but have kitted the kids out with school uniform, bought some lovely clothes for the office and my food cupboard is replenished.
