dread the red

i took up the red driving school 35 mths and i lost over 4000 pounds as first test i took cost me another £70 pounds which i should have got back but never did and tried to pull out but got stuck in a trap as they did there finances through barclays which means your not there problem any more and i spoke to a couple of ppls which are not happy with red

    £4000 to learn to drive (or not as the case may be) those are some mighty expensive lessons they sold you.

    I know this is of limited use to you but I would always recommend finding a local independent driving instructor. I have heard of people who used AA and the likes and got a different instructor for every lesson. How is that conducive to a healthy learning environment?

    The OP reads like it was written by someone trying to drown their sorrows in the early hours but I believe he is talking about the purchase of a franchise whereby Red famously get people signed up to finance to train as driving instructors.

    Lots of complaints about them here and on various consumer complaint programs.

    Red make marvelous promises about earnings on completion of training.
    Which is why it is their sole aim to ensure you do not complete the course.

    They do not have to deliver those promises to people who fail.

    I too pictured a drunkard behind the wheel of a Red liveried mini.
