i got halifax loan £4000 last june over 3 year £142 a mth
15.7% apr
total repayment £5087.52
i would love to pay less each month
can i somehow swap my loan to another lender and save money?

Yes - take a loan with another company on a better APR, possibly extend the term, and pay this one off0

You need to find out from Halifax how much you now owe.
You probably owe about £3,000, which would be £133.26 per month over two years with Northern Rock - but only if you qualify for their best rate.Debt at highest: September 2003 - £26,350 :eek:

check t&c it will let you know what it will cost you to settle the loan early as most loans are front loaned with interest. write to bank and request a settlement figure before arranging settlement.0
