It is a significant reduction on a Moncler product, a brand rarely discounted. As said, it is relative. A family in a poor country will be astounded that people might pay a tenner for a bottle of champagne but the same is a bargain if otherwise it would be bought for £25. Whether or not you like it, it is relative, simple as.

Relative to what though? I think in the world of hats £300 must be expensive relative to everything isn't it?

I'm all for spending a little more to get quality but, its a hat and its over £300!

Interesting issue, I meant relative to what disposable income people have. Yo There are handbags on sale for £80k thesedays (google hermes birkin). As crazy as it sounds there is a waiting list for them. I know .... crazy.

Yes I suppose relative to disposable income then you're quite right, I was more thinking that you couldn't justify the extra expense in terms of getting a better hat than spending significantly less.

Stetson do an all fur version of the same hat for about £40 I think, its always sold out in winter though!

I see your point but a,Moncler hat is far better quality so it is not 'like for like'

The material, the style and it will last 5 times,as,long. Moncler make high end, top quality products. I have a jacket by them which Ive had for 6 years already and it still looks pristine .
