Well, despite being in a right snit around the problems with my son (and to cap it all he reached into a bottle bank today and cut his hand on the broken glass) I have managed to water the plants put in the ground yesterday, do many loads of washing most of which is dry and in the airing cupboard, clean out one kitchen cupboard, do some paid work and go to the gym.
Not too bad all things considered.

I get my results on Thursday macpep. It's driving me crazy waiting.
It's the anticipation that's the worst, isn't it? I'll cross my fingers as soon as I've made tonight's mushroom risotto - don't want to cross 'em before, or I'll get myself in a tangle.;):D

Weelll what have I done today?

    Paid stuff - lots
Posted hubs sweaters for the memory bears.
Wmx1 and hung out, dried, folded ready to go away, apart from what needs ironing.
    Dusted, vacced, mopped all downstairs.
    Finger marks on windows removed
Skirting in dining room washed, didn't realise how filthy it was till I sat in a different chair to work today - eek
    New, cheaper bedroom carpet chosen
    Half hour wallpaper scraping
Children collected and taken to field to feed horses.
Didn't feed children to horses, children fed horses carrots and apples.
    Played fire engines.
Children milked (not in the cow sense) and bed,

    Busy busy busy!
Carpet man is pencilled in for next Friday, but is happy to delay till after bank hol if I'm not ready.
Will do a little sweep and pick up the scrapings, then going to bed for a read, after I've phoned the in laws.

    Lovin the sunshine!

Eta also bought a bed. Sainsburys online had some bases and mattresses at 60% off so have got a good one at not too much cost

Tomorrow night will be dailies, feeding everyone and whatever else I can manage.

Well, everyone's been fed. DW needs emptying and reloading, which I'll do in a bit. That'll be the dailies for today. DS1 has done one of his tasks (promised to do the other later), as well as looking after DS2, and I spoke to the union rep this morning. Will check e-mails before bed in the hope that the one I'm waiting for is there. Early night planned.

Oh, and I've found a home for Herman the friendship cake, which a kind colleague gave me today. :T Haven't had one in - well, a very long time.
Not the greatest day, but I'm still feeling rough. Back to work tomorrow, I hope, but I'm not sure about DS2 yet.
Sorry I'm not managing to mention anyone - head's so stuffy.

Evening all, i have completed levels one, two and three of Tuesdays, well apart from washing the cushion covers, i will wash them when i have enough colours to wash. I am so impressed normally i'm a lazy old moo in the evening. I'm hoping doing bit by bit each day will help me feel better about the state of the house. I struggle at times with working full time and normally think oh i will leave the house till later. Its not looking perfect but i'm getting there.

    Hi Peeps

Lost a massive post last night with all the responses to you lovely peeps good news, probs etc. So thanks again to Dusty and juliejim for last weeks and this weeks thread.

Struggling to fly at the moment as coming in from work physically and mentally exhausted. Horrendously busy and working 6 days a week again along with all my union commitments. Think I will be bringing papers home again tomorrow to go through for Thursday meeting - all day discussing the pay claim! And on top of that I have DH at home and DS flitting in and out. Neither are doing anything and both yesterday and today I have come in to find the breakfast dishes still in the sink, wet washing still in the machine and the DW needing emptying. Am I seriously expected to do everything, all of the time and work in excess of full time at the mo. Needless to say I've barely cooked and have not flown.
And that wasnt really meant to sound like a rant or looking for sympathy as theyre not major problems just little gripes as I felt gripey. Sorry :(

On the plus side the house isnt actually looking too bad as the flying I did over the last couple of weeks made a difference.

I hope that William was allowed home today and that all the poorlies are improving. Big hugs to anyone who needs them. I will try and pop back next week and hopefully will post that I have managed some flying. In the mean time I will just keep reading and being lazy :)

PS GOod news, DD is excelling herself at the mo, walking the dog and keeping her room clean every day :)
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

Kaz - reading all this, you are definitely not being lazy and entitled to a gripe whenever you feel like one. And well done for being a union rep - I wouldn't know what to do without mine at the moment.
