latter half of post i made on Clothing thread
and, on the beauty side we bought 4 Radox deodorants at £1.99 and 2 facial wipes at(supposedly) £1.49 bogof.........but the only coupons allowed was the £2.50 off £10, the £2 off £8 and 1 £1.25 Quit toiletry............the £1 off £4 were refused, as were the £1.25 Quit beauty, and one £1.25 Quit toiletry.
So Radox deodorants are toiletry only(apologies if someone has already pointed this out)....and as I hadnt spent a tenner only 1 £1.25 was accepted.
5 x 50 points went through no bother.............on OH's card
The good news was the wipes as mentioned above, gave no bogof, and scanned as 2 at £1.90 each.............so going back tomorrow for "double the difference" refund......unless of course they read this first!!!Couponing....."every little hurts"

How do i get the SA to scan 2 coupons as it says on them, only 1 coupon per transaction.

Unfortunately..this transaction is up to the till, not the SA.......the till wont allow more than one of these on a £10 spend.
You might be better off keeping hold of these for a while(valid 29/04) and try and get some others.....which will scan at the same time...ask on here, someone may help you out.....Unfortunately ive jusy sent all mine out.
Re the SA.......young male students are care-free, and usually willing to scan anything............Friday PM to Sunday 4pm are generally thought of as being the "couponers shopping time"Couponing....."every little hurts"

i tend to choose the young lads, the best ones are those that look so uninterested they just dont care what they scan, usually on the tills evenings and weekends, you just know they wish they were anywere other than tescodont wait for your boat to come in, get in a dingy and row out to it!!!0 -
I've read all the thread and could some kind person explain (pref. in words of limited syllables
) how i can get free toiletries with my £2.50 off a £10 spend coupons from the *so beautiful* booklet.
I've worked out the bit about buying the BOGOF ones & how that works, it's how you get past using more than 1 coupon i'm struggling with.
In my defence, i've been up since before 6
Thanks.
I can spare a few £2.00 off £8.00 spend vouchers for a s.a.e. You'll have to be quick as expire 25/03/07.
PM me quantity if interested & I'll send my addie.0 -
Reading through the last few pages I feel at last I can take part in the toiletry party - just planning what to buy on Friday when I have a day off from the office - thanks again leadhead.
I was training a work experience student today in work, thought I'd left him detailed instructions when I went to lunch but actually left him my tesco shopping list LOL

My first bad experience the other day, refusal
Could not find any of my 5 handsome lads, so chose a young lad as the other operators were women & wrinkled up old men. (My op looked a boffin, but I thought with my looks I'd fly through) WRONG!
He lay all my coupons in different piles & then asked how much I had spent as could only take so many, I said £16.00 which is what I had before BOGOF's. He would only take 2x£1.25b with 2x£1.25t. or 2x£2.00t&b.
I opted for him to use my £2.00 ones even though it was less than the other option qp's are more scarse.
Think he has been briefed but still wasn't sure what he was allowed to do.
On the upside he went on to scan two different mail book tokens & £1.00 world tokens, without me buying books. :T0 -

In Patty's case above though, no matter who or what the SA is....the till will not accept more than one £2.50 voucher on a single £10 spend.Couponing....."every little hurts"

Are the 'So Beautiful' booklets / vouchers still out there? I have been to 3 Tescos today and not found any. Are they in the big Tescos or the smaller one?
Any hints would be fab.
TIA
