student loan deferment refused due to tax credits

    Hi,

    Just googled student loan deferment and your post came up, just wondering if you had managed to defer as I'm in a similar situation and totally stressing about it!

    My daughter is disabled therefore we get more tax credits which will push me over the threshold next year, if she wasn't we wouldn't get any tax credits and I would be under it!

    i find it very strange that you would be entitled to the childcare element of working tax credits without being entitled to child tax credits, i would be inclined to investigate this
