It's actually very difficult to prove the amount of profit. He will probably be spending all the income on expenses and have no profit. Breeding dogs is not particularly profitable when you can claim so many expenses against the income. Such as a portion of all household expenses including gas/electric/water and rent can be claimed as a deduction against the income if the house/property is used in the breeding of the dogs. That would almost wipe out any profit.
That is if he is running a legitimate business and keeping records of course.... But you know how people are, they won't exist, it will be a pack of made up costs with no proof to back it up...!0 -
Sorry to drag up this old thread but thought you'd all be as *thrilled* as I am to hear that CSA have finally done something.
I will now receive £5 a fortnight as my new entitlement.
