another vote for the asda one here too - though I know it as Deep South - paid £9.99 for full bottle a couple of wks back as against £8.99 for half a bottle of southern comfort.

There is Aldi's "Southern Belle" for £8.99, 70cl.

    Haven't tried it myself, though.
    I hate Southern Comfort.

Genuine SoCo is incredibly cheap in Costco, if you are a member. Can't remember the exact price but I remember it was a few quid off. Also Spirit of Louisiana from Tesco does taste very similar, slightly weaker but nice nevertheless!

If you can, try Southern Comfort Reserve. It's much smoother (and stronger!) than regular SoCo. Unfortunately I've only ever seen it at airport duty-free shops though....

we always stock up when abroad or at the airport, can't be without it! in america last year we got a litre of the reserve stuff and a litre of their special mix (its half soco and half single malt i think..?) and they were about $14 each, thats what i'm talking about!

have tried the pretend versions from the supermarkets but they were a bit different and the asda one made me feel so ill (it can't have been the quantity...!) i would recommend drinking the real stuff for the first while and then you won't notice what the other stuff tastes like...lol
