Pillows that allow sleep on side with arthritic shoulders

I don't suffer with arthritis, but I would suggest you look at a buckwheat hull pillow. They are firm and take a couple of weeks to get used to but they stay firm, keep cool and I take mine everywhere.

I have checked these out online - unfortunately they would be no good for arthritis sufferers or those of us who require some sort of support as the buckwheat hulls can move about ...and when you have poor quality sleep you do tend to toss and turn a lot which would just move the hulls about ..

Amazon have some sprung pillows - not metal sprung I don't think. There are a few box edged ones on Amazon. Hmmmm - might be worth me having a look at those. I may try and pop to Dunelm as they always have loads of different sorts of pillows but unfortunately the one near us doesn't seem to have many available to try - on the beds the last time we went were the bog standard pillows - of no use to me.

Box edge sounds better as might help to take the weight off shoulder. Yep I've bought a few with memory foam just in the middle - every one has been useless for my shoulders and done nothing for my neck position either.

Shaped memory foam - again it comes down to what grade memory foam - there is SO much difference in the grades of memory foam available and no way of telling which ones are going to be suitable.
