Mortgage Exit Fees

I have been offered £75 as a reduction in fee to £175 which was fee applicable when I took out mortgage in 2002.This is with The Mortgage Busines which is really Halifax.Any views deal or no deal? I,m inclined to accept due short duration but do not want to prejudice any claims for others

What was the fee when you started and what did they charge you when you left. If the difference was £75 then thats all you are going to get.
